Ordered Wholesale but got Retail Pricing

Here are instructions below on how to fix this "Ordered Wholesale but got Retail Pricing"

  1. Find order/customer in Shopify:
  2. Find out what went wrong - I looked into order history (view all orders):
  3. See that some are tagged as wholesale and some are not. His most recent order was not tagged, therefore he ordered through our regular retail site.
  4. Refund the difference of 41% of his order (NOT 50% as our products on Shopify are already discounted 15%)
  5. Click order, click refund: 
  6. Refund the difference: (price x 0.41) Make sure shipping is not included in this math
  7. Email customer canned response (stored in FreshDesk):
    Hi [Customer Name],
    Thanks for reaching out, and we’re so sorry for the confusion! It looks like your recent order was placed through our retail site instead of your wholesale account, which is why full retail pricing was applied.
    To receive wholesale pricing, please make sure you’re logged in through our wholesale portal here:
    https://eclecticherb.myshopify.com/apps/wpdapp/wholesale
    Once logged into your approved wholesale account, your wholesale pricing will automatically apply at checkout.
    We’d be happy to help resolve this—whether you’d prefer a refund of the price difference or to cancel and reorder with your wholesale discount. Just let us know what works best for you.
